DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Aug. 12 (SMM) – Chinese lead-acid battery producers are now turning willing to purchase secondary lead as raw material due to cost concerns, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
SMM data shows the price between refined and secondary lead is generally between 200-300 yuan per tonne, but the gap has expanded to 600 yuan per tonne since Jul. 25 as China’s spot lead rose with SHFE lead.
