Motive battery prices in China are forecast to fall further in the foreseeable future, SMM predicts.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) – Motive battery prices in China are forecast to fall further in the foreseeable future, SMM predicts.

Leading-brand 48v20Ah battery prices are 430-480 yuan at present and less known battery prices also fall back with average price sliding 10 yuan from May. Famous battery prices are expected to drop further in the future, such as 48v12Ah battery prices down to 200 yuan.

Poor demand in China’s motive battery market allows inventories to pile up at battery producers and industrial insiders are pessimistic over battery prices. Price wars among leading battery producers are fierce and lots of makers trace famous battery producers to lower battery prices. Also, large battery makers ramp up production for year’s target in June and will be planning sales promotion activities.
