LME Nickel Inventory At Multi-Year Low, SHFE Nickel Inventory Soars More Than 50%

According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), LME nickel inventories decreased first and then increased last week.

According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), LME nickel inventories decreased first and then increased last week. On May 11, the inventories fell to a multi-year low of 39,252 mt. However, LME nickel inventories rose last Friday May 12 and stood at 39,294 mt as of May 15.

SHFE nickel inventory surged 55.78% from a week ago to 1,737 mt in week ending May 12, the highest since April 21. But the inventory is still at a historically low.
