SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) – The inspections by central environmental protection team in Zhejiang affected local lead-acid battery recycling, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

Approximately 60 traders, with licenses, have stopped their recycling activities, according to market sources.

Lead-acid Battery Plants Cut Output on Shortages of Supplementary Materials, SMM Reports

The inspections are expected to come to an end on Sept. 11.
