Zongheng Iron&Steel Company plans to stop all production lines on Aug. 31, according to market sources.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) - Zongheng Iron&Steel Company plans to stop all production lines on Aug. 31, according to market sources.

Ansteel to Start Maintenance for One Blast Furnace

The company in Hebei province halted production at blast furnaces on Aug. 29, and will close converter furnaces on Aug. 31. All raw materials will be used up before full closures, and approximately 1.05 million tonnes of strip capacities will exit the market by then.
