SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 23,550/mt today and then hovered around RMB 23,970/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 23,550/mt today and then hovered around RMB 23,970/mt. After some longs left the market, SHFE 1710 zinc dipped to RMB 23,760/mt and hovered around RMB 23,900/mt, and closed at RMB 23,845/mt, up RMB 425/mt or 1.81%. Trading volumes increased 215,000 to 566,000 lots, and positions added 30,532 to 239,000. SHFE 1710 zinc to remain strong this evening.
