SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,685/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,700/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 20 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,685/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,700/mt. With exodus of shorts, SHFE 1709 zinc strengthened to RMB 22,760/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 zinc weakened with leaving of longs and closed at RMB 22,820/mt, down RMB 95/mt or 0.41%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 141,000 to 622,000 lots, and positions decreased 18,900 to 271,000. SHFE 1709 zinc is expected to fluctuate around RMB 22,800/mt this evening.
