SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 74,880/mt today.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 74,880/mt today. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel followed SHFE copper price trends, and rose to RMB 75,690/mt, and closed at RMB 75,570/mt, up RMB 1,280/mt or 1.72%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel increased 136,000 to 453,000, and positions added 21,600 to 535,000. The number of US new home sales in May will be released tonight. SHFE nickel is expected to fluctuate at highs this evening.
