SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,955/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,870/mt, and strengthened after dipping to RMB 22,790/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 19 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,955/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,870/mt, and strengthened after dipping to RMB 22,790/mt. SHFE 1709 zinc moved below moving averages in the morning. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 zinc pulled up with entry of longs, and rose to RMB 23,000/mt, and closed at RMB 23,030/mt, down RMB 120/mt or 0.52%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 12,772 to 481,000 lots, and positions added 638 to 290,000. SHFE 1709 zinc is expected to fluctuate around RMB 23,000/mt this evening.
