SHANGHAI, May 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1707 zinc opened at RMB 22,215/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,230/mt. In the second trading session, some longs left the market, dragging down SHFE 1707 zinc to RMB 22,180/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1707 zinc hovered around RMB 22,300/mt and closed at RMB 22,315/mt, down RMB 65/mt or 0.29%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1707 zinc decreased 59,706 to 575,000 lots, and positions decreased 21,316 to 274,000. The price spread between SHFE 1706 and SHFE 1707 zinc is RMB 555/mt. Positions on SHFE 1706 zinc decreased 5,336 to 72,908. Positions on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 8,386 to 195,638.
