SHFE 1703 zinc opened at RMB 22,450/mt after opening today and then hovered around RMB 22,840/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1703 zinc closed at RMB 22,770/mt, up RMB 245/mt or 1.09%.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1703 zinc opened at RMB 22,450/mt after opening today and then hovered around RMB 22,840/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1703 zinc closed at RMB 22,770/mt, up RMB 245/mt or 1.09%.

Trading volumes increased 108,000 lots to 791,000 lots, and positions increased 1,926 to 219,000. SHFE 1701 zinc was delivered today, opening at RMB 22,760/mt and closing at RMB 22,818/mt, with settlement price of RMB 22,818/mt. Trading volumes decreased 300 to 580 lots, and positions fell 70 to 8,110.
