SHANGHAI, Dec. 19 (SMM) – SHFE 1702 zinc hovered around RMB 22,200/mt after opening. In the afternoon, SHFE 1702 zinc plunged and closed at RMB 21,550/mt, down RMB 1,195/mt or 5.25%. Trading volumes increased 50,626 lots to 589,000 lots, and positions decreased 3,716 to 212,000. SHFE 1702 zinc will test support from the 40-day moving average in the evening session.

SHFE 1702 zinc hovered around RMB 22,200/mt after opening. In the afternoon, SHFE 1702 zinc plunged and closed at RMB 21,550/mt, down RMB 1,195/mt or 5.25%.
