[Microvast launches new NMC soft bag battery that can be fully charged in 20 minutes] Microvast Europe has released a new battery for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and trains, which can be charged from zero to 100% in 20 minutes.

SMM: Microvast Europe has released a new battery for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and trains, which can be charged from zero to 100% in 20 minutes.

The new battery is a brand new NMC (lithium nickel cobalt manganate) soft package battery MpCO 17.5Ah, with an energy density of 186Wh/kg and a cycle life of 8000 cycles. The company can integrate MpCO 17.5Ah batteries into its standard modules and packaging products and assemble them according to specifications at its new plant in Brandenburg, Germany.

According to the company, the first prototype orders are in production and will be delivered to a Norwegian offshore original equipment manufacturer this month. Microvast has also been selected by a leading port equipment manufacturer, which has selected MpCO 17.5Ah for its future electric port vehicles.

According to reports, the new battery has many advantages and is an ideal choice for medium and heavy commercial vehicles. The new battery can be fully charged in less than 20 minutes and meets the stringent charging requirements of some models, such as passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, special vehicles, port vehicles, trains and boats. By shortening the charging time and idle time of the vehicle, the running efficiency is significantly improved.

In addition, in extremely cold weather conditions, the new battery can ensure the smooth operation of the vehicle. Even at minus 30 degrees, the battery can "remain in good working condition".
