Zambian President Edgar Lungu’s spokesman said August 26 Glencore’s Mopani Copper Mines (MCM) has been required to accept new electric prices, foreign media reported.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 28 (SMM) - Zambian President Edgar Lungu’s spokesman said August 26 Glencore’s Mopani Copper Mines (MCM) has been required to accept new electric prices, foreign media reported.

The country has canceled subsidy for state-owned energy companies.
