SHANGHAI, Aug. 21 (SMM) – Protesters in Peru removed barriers on a road used by MMG Ltd. for its copper concentrate from its Las Bambas mine to port, a representative of the ombudsman's office said.

Zambia Resumes Power Supply to First Quantum Minerals

Earlier, the government declared a state of emergency in the region. MMG said that copper production at the mine has continued throughout the blockade.
