China’s silicon metal exports posted big gains in June.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 27 (SMM) - China’s silicon metal exports posted big gains in June. Total exports of silicon metal were 72,400 tonnes in June 2017, a jump of 15.48% on the month, and up 18.54% on a yearly basis, according to China Customs.

Environmental protection inspection teams have arrived at silicon metal plants in Sichuan recently, SMM understands. Some plants are cautious. Some wash silica only in the evening.
