The China Photovoltaic Industry Association recently held a symposium on preventing vicious internal competition within the photovoltaic industry, aiming to resolve the issue of excess capacity. This meeting, which followed a closed-door session in Wenzhou, invited multiple leading photovoltaic enterprises to participate in the discussion. The symposium primarily revolved around three agendas: firstly, to deliberate on an industry self-regulatory convention opposing inward spiral competition and below-cost dumping; secondly, to explore corresponding measures to orderly address the imbalance between supply and demand and overcapacity; and lastly, to put forward other suggestions guiding the healthy and orderly development of the industry. It is understood that this symposium was an internal meeting, and the relevant content is expected to be released tonight.
