Price CenterDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightGeneral Administration of Customs: In August 2024, China imported 2.574 million mt of copper ore and concentrates, up 18.9% MoM but down 4.56% YoY. From January to August, the cumulative import volume was 18.061 million mt, up 3.2% YoY.
As of September 13, the SMM nine ports copper concentrate inventory was 1.0985 million mt, up 120,000 mt from the previous period, mainly driven by increased inventories at Jinzhou Port. This week, the copper concentrate inventory at Jinzhou Port increased by 75,000 mt WoW.
