SHANGHAI, Feb 9 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 11.66 million mt as of Thursday February 9, up 1.1 million mt or 10.4% from a week ago, and up 2.4% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 8.04 million mt, up 854,000 mt or 11.89% on the week, and a drop of 1.2% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 3.62 million mt, up 242,800 mt or 7.2% on the week, and up 11.6% on the year.
