In terms of exports, the export volume of LiPF6 in H1 2024 reached 9,865.315 mt, representing an increase of approximately 13% compared to H1 2023. In contrast, the import volume of LiPF6 in H1 2024 was 91.419 mt, indicating a decrease of approximately 54.5% compared to H1 2023.
Overall, with the rapid development of the electric vehicle and energy storage markets, the demand for lithium battery products abroad has increased, driving up the procurement of raw materials. Domestically, companies have significantly improved their ability to produce LiPF6 independently by expanding factories and commissioning new plants. Meanwhile, the Chinese government's supportive policies for the lithium battery industry have further reduced dependence on imports.
