Sunwoda: This Year, The Production Capacity of LFP Power Batteries Is Expected to Account for More Than 50%.

On May 14, Sunwoda stated during an institutional research meeting that the company is currently gradually adjusting the production capacity ratio of LFP power batteries based on market and customer demand, and it is expected that the proportion will exceed 50% this year.

In terms of the power battery business, Sunwoda adheres to the strategy of "focus + differentiation," concentrating on the development of ultra-fast charging products and maintaining a leading edge in industry differentiation. In addition, the company continues to invest in new technologies, continuously developing advanced battery products such as silicon anode high specific energy batteries, lithium iron manganese phosphate batteries, sodium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, and lithium metal batteries to meet the future diverse needs of end-users.

Currently, Sunwoda's clients mainly include leading domestic and international car manufacturers as well as emerging new car-making forces. Domestic clients include Geely, Dongfeng, Li Auto, Leap Motor, and SAIC-GM-Wuling, while international clients include Renault and Nissan. In addition, the company has also secured clients such as Volvo and Volkswagen.

In terms of the consumer battery business, Sunwoda will primarily focus on actively exploring new markets while maintaining the existing customer share, continuously increasing the market share of battery cells at the client end, enhancing the self-supply rate of battery cells, and further increasing the company's market share and product profit margin.

In terms of the energy storage business, Sunwoda mainly focuses on five major business areas: power storage, commercial and industrial storage, home storage, network energy, and smart energy. In terms of energy storage cells, the company mainly increases its market share of energy storage cells by supplying to major energy storage customers through both self-supply and overseas supply, thereby further increasing the market share and profitability of its energy storage batteries.

In the hybrid vehicle business, Sunwoda's HEV products feature high power, long lifespan, and high safety. They support 70C normal temperature discharge and 60C pulse charging. The maturity and stability of the products have been fully validated by the market and have received unanimous recognition from major customers both domestically and internationally. Currently, they have started cooperation with most domestic customers with HEV needs and have begun mass deliveries.
