【SMM Analysis：The export volume of refined cobalt in June maintained an increase】In June 2024, China's imports of unwrought cobalt were approximately 258 mt in metal content, up 15% MoM, down 30% YoY.

In June 2024, China's imports of unrefined cobalt were approximately 258 mt in metal content, up 15% MoM, down 30% YoY. In terms of import average price, the average import price of unrefined cobalt in China in June 2024 was $29,575/mt in metal content. From January to June 2024, the cumulative imports were 1,333 mt in metal content, down 45% YoY.

In terms of exports, in June 2024, China's exports of unrefined cobalt were approximately 988 mt in metal content, up 76% MoM, up 442% YoY. In terms of export average price, the average export price of unrefined cobalt in China in June 2024 was $27,643/mt in metal content. From January to June 2024, the cumulative exports were 4,108 mt in metal content, up 184% YoY.
