According to a report by Nikkei on the 22nd, Japan and Europe will establish a data-sharing system to cooperate in recycling electric vehicle batteries. This system will share information on extraction locations and mineral suppliers. Scheduled to be launched in 2025, the system aims to reduce dependence on major suppliers of rare metals such as lithium.
