SHANGHAI, Sep 27 (SMM) – According to SMM survey, one lead-zinc mine in Qinghai province, who was shut down earlier due to another round of pandemic, plans to postpone its production resumptions to November due to pandemic-caused transportation issues and the upcoming 20th National Congress. SMM estimates that this will cause a loss of 5,200 mt of lead concentrate and zinc concentrate output in metal content.

The domestic secondary crude lead market experienced sluggish transactions. As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt.
