SHANGHAI, Mar 18 (SMM)—China produced 174.99 million mt of crude steel in January-February, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. Output of steel products stood at 209.53 million mt during this period, up 23.6% on the year; output of primary aluminium came in at 6.45 million mt, up 8.4% on a yearly basis: pig iron output stood at 144.75 million mt, rising 6.4% from a year ago, according to data from National Bureau of Statistics.
