Chromite port stocks shrink from before CNY break

Stocks declined 2% from before the Chinese New Year break and stood at 2.8 million mt as of Friday Feb 15

SHANGHAI, Feb 18 (SMM) – Chromite (chrome ore) inventories across Chinese ports declined 2% from before the Chinese New Year break and stood at 2.8 million mt as of Friday February 15, SMM data showed.

For the same period, stocks at Tianjin port decreased by 9% to 1.49 million mt, stocks at Lianyungang declined 21% to 185,000 mt, while stocks at Qinzhou port gained 16% to 630,000 mt.
