Glencore: zinc output to drop to 1.09 million mt in 2018

Glencore plans to restart part of its zinc production during the first half of 2018 but the output next year will drop slightly to 1.09 million mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec 13 (SMM)-Glencore plans to restart part of its zinc production during the first half of 2018 but the output next year will drop slightly to 1.09 million mt, from 1.1 million mt of this year, the company said on Tuesday. The production, however, is estimated to increase to 1.16 million mt in 2019.
