SHANGHAI, Dec 28 (SMM) – The crude steel output across key steel mills in China stood at 18.90 million mt during mid-December, according to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). The pig iron output stood at 16.36 million mt, and the semi and finished steel products output stood at 18.31 million mt.
The average daily output of crude steel in this period was 1.89 million mt, a decrease of 2.26% from the previous 10 days. The average daily output of pig iron was 1.64 million mt, a decrease of 0.33%. The daily average output of semi and finished steel products fell 1.73% to 1.83 million mt.
