SHANGHAI, Oct. 12 (SMM)－According to offers of Silicon plants, many plants in Yunnan has raised price of silicon of low grade by 200-300 yuan per tonne. Meanwhile, silicon of higher grade is also raised in price. The main reason is the rise of production cost. Since Yunnan implements linkage policy of silicon and electricity in major silicon production places like Dehong, Nujiang, Baoshan, where gained a rise in electric charge in September compared with last month at various degree. Plus continuous rise of raw materials price like electrode, silicon plants insists on a firm price. Currently there is great anticipated price difference between seller and buyer, so the market transaction is quite low.
