DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jul. 11 (SMM) – Si-Mn alloy producers in north China increases ex-works price to 6,500 yuan per tonne by cash on Tuesday, SMM reports. But, few transactions were heard with market wary sentiment.
SMM attributes two factors to the price hike.
First, CIF offered by foreign manganese miners stays high.
Second, China’s largest Si-Mn alloy producer expects to cut 30% of output in face of halving power production at captive generator.
