SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) – China’s crude steel output kept growing in August on a yearly basis, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
China produced 74.59 million tonnes of crude steel in August, up 8.7 per cent on a yearly basis, compared with a year-on-year growth of 10.3 per cent in July, according to the NBS.
YTD output from January to August grew 5.6 per cent on a yearly basis to 566.41 million tonnes, and the year-on-year growth from January to July was 5.1 per cent.
