Most zinc mines in Huayuan County, Hunan Province were ordered to shut down with entry of environmental protection team recently.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) - Most zinc mines in Huayuan County, Hunan Province were ordered to shut down with entry of environmental protection team recently.

Some mining and beneficiation plants that had passed environmental protection examinations also slashed output or closed, SMM understands.

In this scenario, production at Hunan Sanli, Hunan Xuanhua Zinc Industry Co. and Hunan Taifeng Mining Group will be affected.
