SHANGHAI, Jan. 20 (SMM) – SHFE 1703 zinc moved around RMB 22,450/mt after opening today, fluctuating in a RMB 80/mt range. In the afternoon, SHFE 1703 zinc dipped to RMB 21,990/mt and closed at RMB 22,145/mt, down RMB 255/mt or 1.14%.

Trading volumes increased 30,908 lots to 623,000 lots, and positions decreased 13,520 to 181,000. SHFE 1703 zinc is expected to remain range-bound and test support from RMB 22,000/mt in the evening session.
