SHANGHAI, Nov. 6 (SMM) – Ignition batteries enter a traditional peak season in Nov. and leading battery makers raise battery prices. However, less famous battery prices remain unchanged, SMM reports.

According to SMM survey, only 3 battery producers halted October’s sales promotion with each battery price up 2-3%. But the rest 7 battery producers left battery prices unchanged.

With temperatures turning cold, consumption on motive batteries picks up in Nov., compared with Aug. and Sept. Nonetheless, domestic overall market remains weak. Oversupply and fierce competition drags down orders at most battery makers. Consequently, less famous battery makers are unwilling to step up battery prices.
