ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $234.17 per long ton, as on 9th February, 2015. The prices declined sharply by $91.66 per long ton over the previous week. The prices had held steady for three consecutive weeks prior to this.
The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $234.17 per long ton, plunging by $91.66 per long ton when compared with the previous week.
The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $234.50 per long ton. The average price dropped considerably by $95 per long ton when compared with the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $249.50 per long ton, declining by $85 per long ton over the week. The average price in Philadelphia was $218.50 per long ton. The prices here saw sharp cut of $100 per long ton from the week before.
The H1 prices averaged at $249.50 per long ton in New York, Houston and Boston, dropping by $95 per long ton from the previous week’s prices.
