US H1 scrap average prices jumped higher by $6.66 per long ton

The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $325.83 per long ton, as on 12th January, 2015. The prices increased by $6.66 per long ton over the previous week.

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $325.83 per long ton, as on 12th January, 2015. The prices increased by $6.66 per long ton over the previous week. The US H1 scrap prices had averaged at $319.17 per long ton during the week prior to this. This is the second consecutive week that the prices have edged higher.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $325.83 per long ton, increasing by $6.66 per long ton when compared with the previous week.

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $329.50 per long ton. The average price increased by $10 per long ton when compared with the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $329.50 per long ton, increasing by $10 per long over the week. The average price in Philadelphia was $318.50 per long ton. The prices here held steady from the week before.

The H1 prices averaged at $224.17 per long ton in New York, Houston and Boston, holding steady when compared with the previous week prices.
