US H1 scrap prices remained flat for second consecutive week

The average price of US H1 scrap remained unchanged from the previous week, as on 24th March, 2014. This is the second consecutive week that the average scrap prices remained unchanged.

NEW YORK (Scrap Monster): The average price of US H1 scrap remained unchanged from the previous week, as on 24th March, 2014. This is the second consecutive week that the average scrap prices remained unchanged. The prices had dropped by $12.34 per long ton during the week prior to that.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $361.83 per long ton, remaining unchanged from the previous week.

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $379.5 per long ton. The average price remained unchanged from the previous week. In Chicago the prices were flat at $377.50 per long ton. The average price in Philadelphia was $328.5 per long ton. The prices here witnessed no change over the week.

The H1 prices averaged at $272.5 per long ton in New York, Houston and Boston. The average prices remained flat over the previous week.
