#0 zinc prices were between RMB 14,650-14,690/mt, with spot discounts between RMB 140-180/mt against SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 26 (SMM) – #0 zinc prices were between RMB 14,650-14,690/mt, with spot discounts between RMB 140-180/mt against SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices. #1 zinc prices were between RMB 14,630-14,640/mt. SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,860/mt on Wednesday, then fell to RMB 14,820-14,840/mt, with spot discounts expanding slightly. Traders lacked interest in purchasing, and smelters were holding back goods. Downstream buyers still took a wait-and-see attitude. Shuangyan branded #0 zinc prices were around RMB 14,680/mt, with RMB 14,650-14,660/mt for Qinxin, Jiulong and Feilong branded #0 zinc.
