ArcelorMittal Unit Says Kazakh Output Fell 16% in First Quarter

ArcelorMittal (MT)’s Kazakh unit decreased liquid steel production by 16 percent in the first quarter compared with a year earlier.

ArcelorMittal (MT)’s Kazakh unit decreased liquid steel production by 16 percent in the first quarter compared with a year earlier.

ArcelorMittal Temirtau produced 811,800 metric tons of liquid steel in the first three months of the year, down from 963,300 tons in 2011, according to a statement e-mailed today.
