SMM Morning Review - 2012/4/10 Zinc Market

SHFE three-month zinc contract prices will fall to test RMB 15,500/mt, with prices expected to move between RMB 15,500-15,800/mt, while spot discounts will narrow slightly to RMB 200-300/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 10 (SMM) -- LME zinc prices opened below USD 2,000/mt in the morning session due to weak US non-farm payrolls, which may drag down SHFE zinc prices today. SMM predicts SHFE three-month zinc contract prices will fall to test RMB 15,500/mt, with prices expected to move between RMB 15,500-15,800/mt, while spot discounts will narrow slightly to RMB 200-300/mt.
