Hindustan Zinc Raises Metal Prices by 1.5% to 113,400 Rupees/Ton

MUMBAI, Sept. 28 -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd., India's largest producer, raised metal prices by 1.5 percent to 113,400 rupees a metric ton effective from today, according to data on the company's website. It also raised lead prices by 1.4 percent to 116,400 rupees a ton.

Many zinc traders contributed the surge in zinc market mainly to two factors, 21st Century Business Herald reported.
