SHANGHAI, Sept. 13 -- China is "not very likely" to roll out more export controls on lead and zinc, Zhao Cuiqing, director of the lead and zinc department at the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, said at a Shanghai conference today.

Still, China won't return to the time when it exported large amounts of lead and its products as the government is determined to control domestic energy consumption, Zhao said.
