SHANGHAI, July 23 (SMM) -- LME base metals prices moved higher led by LME copper prices on July 22nd, and LME zinc prices climbed to USD 1,925/mt, continuing to break a high in February. LME zinc prices are expected to fall slightly after closing with gains for four consecutive days, with the price range moving higher gradually.

SMM predicts SHFE zinc prices will stand steady at RMB 15,500/mt led by LME zinc prices, with prices expected to try to break through the previous resistance range of RMB 15,800-16,000/mt.
