According to the SMM survey, as of September 10, the operating rate of electric furnace steel mills producing construction materials nationwide was 26.42%, up 6.66 percentage points WoW.

According to the SMM survey, as of September 10, the operating rate of electric furnace steel mills producing construction materials nationwide was 26.42%, up 6.66 percentage points WoW. Looking ahead, with the arrival of the September-October peak season, the supply of steel scrap will gradually improve, alleviating the difficulty of scrap collection. Meanwhile, as the weather cools, downstream demand is expected to improve, which may slightly boost steel mill profits and increase production enthusiasm. It is expected that the operating rate of electric furnaces will continue to rise in the next period.
