Leading Qinghai Brine Enterprise sudden overhaul

According to SMM survey, a leading brine enterprise in Qinghai has unexpectedly undergone maintenance. The maintenance period started on April 11th and is expected to last for around 10-15 days, resulting in an anticipated reduction of approximately 1400 tons lithium carbonate.

According to SMM survey, a leading brine enterprise in Qinghai has unexpectedly undergone maintenance. The maintenance period started on April 11th and is expected to last for around 10-15 days, resulting in an anticipated reduction of approximately 1400 tons lithium carbonate. Due to this event, China's total lithium carbonate production in April is expected to be revised down from 53,135 to 51,735 tons, with the surplus for the month expected to narrow from 3,926 to 2,526 tons. If the reservoir effect of futures continues to strengthen, this maintenance will provide momentum for price increases.
