Environmental protection problems have reappeared in Yichun recently, and companies that cannot properly handle lithium slag will be restricted from starting operations. At the same time, it is planned to conduct environmental inspections in Yichun after NPC & CPPCC.

According to market news, "Environmental protection problems have reappeared in Yichun recently, and companies that cannot properly handle lithium slag will be restricted from starting operations. At the same time, it is planned to conduct environmental inspections in Yichun after NPC & CPPCC."

According to SMM research, currently core lithium salt companies in Jiangxi are still producing as planned (the companies that were originally scheduled for maintenance are still proceeding as planned), and this incident has no actual impact on their operations.

According to SMM data, the output of lithium carbonate produced from lepidolite in February is expected to be 7,750 tons, a MoM decrease of 33%, mainly due to the impact of the Spring Festival holiday and annual maintenance. China's total lithium carbonate output in February is expected to be 32,005 tons, a MoM decrease of 17%. After March, the output of lithium carbonate produced from lepidolite is expected to be 12,730 tons, a month-on-month increase of 64%. China's total lithium carbonate output is expected to be 44,048 tons, a MoM increase of 30%.
