MetalsGrove Mining Ltd has acquired six lithium-tin-tantalum claims in Zimbabwe. The new claims span 510 hectares and recent rock chip samples have returned high lithium grades. The claims are located in the Goromonzi and Beatrice lithium belts, close to the operational “world-class” Arcadia Minerals lithium mine which produces up to 450,000 tonnes per annum of lithium concentrate. The company plans to conduct an initial exploration campaign in the first quarter of 2024. The acquisition is considered to be a “transformational opportunity” and has been well-received by the markets, with shares trading up 40%.
