The most-traded lithium carbonate futures contract kept falling, and has crashed below the 145,000 yuan/mt mark, a drop of nearly 3%, a new low since its debut.

Similarly, the spot price of battery-grade lithium carbonate also hit a new low since September 12, 2021.
