LME Zinc Inventory Dropped to 19-Month Low

LME zinc inventory kept falling after hitting a high of 209,175 mt in nearly two months and a half on December 14, 2021, and there is currently no signs that the inventory would stop falling.

SHANGHAI, Feb 22 - LME zinc inventory kept falling after hitting a high of 209,175 mt in nearly two months and a half on December 14, 2021, and there is currently no signs that the inventory would stop falling. The latest LME zinc inventory stood at 147,350 mt, a new low in 19 months.

SHFE zinc inventory, on the other hand, rallied greatly in the week of February 18, with a weekly increase of 14.16% to 166,364 mt, a high in nearly two years.
