SHANGHAI, Dec 15 (SMM) - Power battery output totalled 25.1 GWh in October, up 155% on the year and 8.4% on the month. The increase of power battery output slowed after experiencing a rapid increase of more than 10% for four consecutive months, and the output only rose 8.4% MoM in October. The output of ternary battery stood at  9.2Gwh in October, down 4% on the month, but up 67% on the year. The output of LFP battery stood at 15.9GWH, up 18% MoM and 267% YoY. LFP battery is still the main driving force for the growth of battery output. The market shares of LFP battery rose further, accounting for 63.3% of the total, and the shares of ternary battery fell to 36.6%.

The total installed capacity of power battery in October declined MoM for the first time since April and stood at 15.42GWH, down 2% on the month, but up 162% on the year. The installed capacity of ternary battery stood at 6.97GWH in October, up 14% month on month and 104.3% year on year. The installed capacity of LFP battery recorded 8.43GWH, down 12% on the month, but up 249.5% on the year as the installed capacity of LFP battery had soared in previous months.
